ESD megger for measuring ESD seating Pocket Meg Seating

The Pocket Meg Seating is a control instrument intended for measuring surface resistivity and resistivity toward ground at antistatic workplaces in a dedicated room acc. to the EN 61 340-5-1 standard. The instrument is designed for fast orientation measurement of chairs, work surfaces, floors and other materials. The instrument indicates the value of measured resistivity by LEDs indicating the value by order in Ohms. The diodes are differentiated by color as follows: green LEDs represent the resistivity values of electrostatic conductive and dissipative materials, red LED represents the higher resistivity value, and yellow LEDs represent lower values.

The instrument performance and sufficient battery voltage are indicated by red LED immediately after the measuring button pressing.

Measuring ranges

Measuring electrodes are situated from below the instrument; jack for connecting to earth is on the instrument face together with a measuring switch. The measuring button and evaluation indicators of the battery test and condition are situated on the top panel. The instrument is delivered together with measuring cable with an alligator clip for connecting the earth.
